Ametis Villa conducts corporate social responsibility every year, and one of the activities in this year was the sponsorship of Sadhana Youth Camp (Practice the spiritual from youth) at Parama Dhama Ashram in Jalan Padang Galak, Denpasar, Bali, conducted by Dharma Sthapanam Foundation and children meditation organization in Bali.
It all started when one of our security staff I Wayan Suarmajaya brought a sponsorship proposal to management in mid of May. Wayan is one of the Sadana Youth Camp Committee.
This camp was created based on the desire of parents who want their children to learn the spirit of Bali Hinduism together with children of other religions. Students from elementary school to high school participate in the camp every year during the school holiday. Program contains worship to Besakih and Lumpuyan temples, Prabhu Darmayasam yoga, meditation, excursions, green teams, night art events, etc.
Ametis Villa Bali confirmed the sponsorship to this unique and meaningful camp activity, and while being a sponsor, Ametis Villa employee also had chance to visit Ashram and participated in a Bahindava study program called Bhagavad Gita on 30th June 2019.
Saviastri Adnyani, Human Resources Manager who visited the camp said, “By participating in this camp, children can become social while interacting with children of other religions. “It is a great pleasure for Ametis to be able to support these precious opportunities.”
The total number of participants in this year’s to Sadhana Youth Camp was 150 children. Wayan, security staff said, “Children who participated in this camp were able to read and recite Bhagavad Gita’s poetry, creating positive vibrations and growing universal affection. It ’s 9th year, but the number of participants is increasing year by year.
Ni Luh Laksmi, one of the students who participated in the camp, said, “I can make new friends, learn how to become more discipline, consider the environment, each one develops love and dignity, and a feeling of respect for their parents. It’s great study. ”
I Wayan Widana, Laksmi ’s father, said, “By participating in this camp and developing spiritual knowledge, my daughter was able to build a better humanity. She has been more self-reliant, washing the dishes by herself, cleaning the bed, etc. Mobile phone was not allowed during this camp, so her mobile phone usage was decreased. It seems that the recitation of the poetry has given her a very good experience of not only knowledge but also the original humanity. “
