Ametis Villa-Bali supported the Annual International Coastal Clean Up and World Cleaning Up Day 2018 on 15th September 2018, with #balifreefromplasticbag campaign by Bali Hotel Association to cut down the amount of plastic and garbage entering the ocean.
Our Bali Private Villa, Ametis Villa invited local community, hotels, and restaurants surround Canggu to join this global movement. Around 145 volunteers had removed 21kg inorganic trash, and 30kg organic trash from Batu Bolong Beach, Canggu.
“Against Bali tourism is growing up, Bali is suffering from the rising tide of plastic waste as it becomes news worldwide. We should start from the individual immediately to protect our environment and also to welcome lots of tourist back to this small beautiful island. It is great chance for us to encourage people to join this global action on international coastal cleanup day” says Mrs. Saviestri Adnyani , Human Resource Manager of Ametis Villa– Bali.
